The Family Readiness Program is looking for unit websites from the State Family Readiness Groups throughout Maryland. We want to create a forum on the State Family Readiness Programs website that includes all unit websites from Family Readiness Groups. By doing this, it will creates a strong networking tool for the Family Readiness Groups.  The State Family Readiness Programs goal every month is to feature a Family Readiness Groups website in the Family newsletter.  This will help new Family Readiness Groups to receive ideas, as well as seasoned Family Readiness Groups.

Volunteer Training Sessions
The Family Program offers training for family readiness group leaders and their volunteers.  For a list and description of each course, please contact Ms. Jenkins at the number above.  She is available for Family Readiness Group meetings and can also schedule training for any time that volunteers and leaders are available outside of regular meeting times.

State Task Force (Family Readiness) Air/Army Volunteers
The State Family Program is currently resuming the State Task Force.  Comprised of volunteers, the State Task Force mission is to provide training, guidance and awareness to Family Readiness Groups statewide. This is an exciting opportunity and we hope everyone is excited.  The exact date and location will depend on the geographic location of the participants.  This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and guide the Maryland National Guard Family Readiness Program.  If you are interested, please contact Katherine Jenkins, the Family Readiness Assistant.  Her contact information is above.
