SUPPORT OUR SERVICE MEMBERS

Listed below are websites you can visit to show your support for our troops all over the world.  Please take time to visit these sites.  Our Soldiers and Airmen value and appreciate your expressions of support anytime throughout the year.

(The sites listed below are not owned or operated by the Maryland National Guard)

  • Remember My Service (RMS)
Remember My Service (RMS) is a program created by StoryRock Electronic Publishing that helps Military units create an annual historical record.  The program includes training, support, and a proprietary software application, customized for the U.S. Military

Unlike a traditional historical record or a video slideshow, RMS is an interactive compilation of the events and experiences collectively shared by Service members within a unit. The completed RMS is placed on computer disc (CD-ROM or DVD-ROM) and can be distributed to each member of the unit, families‚ and even within the community to increase awareness between the Military and civic organizations.  CLICK HERE to access the RMS site.

  • America's Heroes at Work
The new America's Heroes at Work Web site (
http://www.AmericasHeroesAtWork.gov) is intended to provide information for employers about TBI and PTSD as well as guidance on implementing workplace accommodations for affected employees. In addition, it will supply information about job coaching and mentoring programs. The Web site also includes contact information for the Job Accommodation Network, which gives employers personalized assistance with job accommodations for disabled veterans.

  • Let's Say Thanks
If you go to the web site at www.letssaythanks.com, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq.  You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.  It is 100 percent FREE and it only takes a second to brighten the day of one of America's modern heroes.

  • Treats for Troops | Military Registration
Add your name to our Foster-A-Soldier Program and individuals and groups who want to support our troops. By sponsoring a soldier you will be able to choose a gift that will be shipped directly to you by Treats for Troops, Inc., from the Treats for Troops Gift Shop. Your personal contact information is known only to Treats for Troops; it will never be given out to sponsors. Registration is fast, easy and free for active duty military personnel.
